LG Celebrates 12 Years as OLED Leader with Isaiah Cacnio’s “Fragments” at the National Museum of Natural History

In celebration of 12 years of OLED innovation, LG Philippines unveiled “Fragments”—a groundbreaking digital art exhibit by Isaiah Cacnio—at the National Museum of Natural History. This milestone event seamlessly blended technology, art, and Filipino heritage, highlighting the country’s stunning geological narrative through the lens of immersive digital media.

Cacnio, the first digital and motion graphics artist featured at the National Museum, created “Fragments” using LG’s advanced OLED technology. The exhibit reimagines the Earth’s evolution, emphasizing the Philippines’ volcanic origins, natural forces, and rich biodiversity. Comprising three captivating pieces—“Where Fire Begins,” “Stories in Stone,” and “What Breaks, Flows”—the exhibit runs for an entire month, inviting audiences to reflect on both nature’s power and the resilience of the Filipino identity.

“Even in fracture, there is flow. Even in separation, there is connection,” Cacnio shared, capturing the spirit of unity in diversity.

Cacnio also expressed pride in joining global creatives like Refik Anadol and Steve Harrington in using LG OLED as an artistic medium. Through platforms like LGOLEDArt.com, LG continues to empower digital artists with tools for next-generation storytelling.

A Commitment to Culture and Innovation

Marking this artistic collaboration, LG donated ₱500,000 worth of display technology to the National Museum of Natural History. The donation includes LG StanbyME TVs, OLED panels, and monitors, enabling the museum to offer more dynamic, interactive experiences.

This continues LG’s legacy of cultural support, following contributions to the National Museum’s opening in 2018 and the National Museum of Fine Arts. These efforts reflect LG’s broader mission to unite innovation with education, culture, and community.

“We’re honored to celebrate our 12th year as the world’s No. 1 OLED TV brand here at the National Museum, especially on the 127th anniversary of Philippine Independence,” said Mr. Nakhyun Seong, Managing Director of LG Philippines. “We’re committed to helping Filipinos live better—by blending cutting-edge technology with local culture.”

Mr. Yongwoo Park, LG’s Executive Director for Home Entertainment, shared the brand’s vision of “Affectionate Intelligence”—AI technology designed to intuitively enhance daily life. “We build experiences that are warm, personal, and deeply human.”

Museums of the Future

Director-General Jeremy Barns of the National Museum thanked LG for their continued support, calling the partnership a “milestone in modernizing the museum experience.” He emphasized how tech-driven storytelling shifts exhibits from passive observation to active, immersive engagement.

“Technology, when thoughtfully integrated, allows us to connect more deeply with audiences and tell our Filipino stories in compelling new ways,” said Barns. “LG’s support helps ensure that education, access, and heritage preservation remain central to what we do.”

Spotlight on Innovation

LG’s Natasha Morano and AG Constantino showcased the latest features of the new LG AI TV lineup, highlighting intuitive voice recognition, customizable user profiles, and personalized content curation.

They demonstrated how LG’s OLED and QNED TVs bring every frame to life—each color vivid, each detail precise.

  • Bela Padilla shared how the OLED C5 elevates her gaming experience with lag-free, ultra-detailed graphics and Perfect Color technology.
  • Mika Reyes highlighted the OLED B5’s Multi View feature for its convenience and multitasking power.
  • LA Tenorio relies on his QNED TV for strategic game reviews: “The clarity is amazing—it’s like being courtside during every replay.”

A Vision for the Future
