Puregold Breaks Boundaries with OPM Con 2025 at the Philippine Arena

Last July 5, I witnessed something extraordinary. What started out as an errand-running supermarket stop—Puregold—turned into the ultimate music experience of the year. From supermarket aisles to stadium lights, Puregold truly conquered the Philippine Arena with OPM Con 2025, and I was lucky enough to be part of it.

Imagine tens of thousands of voices screaming in unison, waving light sticks, and singing along to an all-star lineup of today’s hottest OPM acts—BINI, SB19, Flow G, KAIA, G22, Skusta Clee, and Sunkissed Lola, to name a few. The arena didn’t just pulse with sound—it roared with Filipino pride.

A Festival of Filipino Talent and Heart

From the moment the lights dimmed and the first bass drop hit, you could feel it: this wasn’t just a concert. It was a movement. A celebration of Filipino talent, grit, and creativity. Each artist brought their unique vibe, and the transitions between pop, hip-hop, P-pop, and soul felt seamless. It was like one giant love letter to Original Panalo Music.

The crowd? Pure magic. I stood next to a group of moms who flew in from Cebu, a couple from Bataan who redeemed their tickets at a Puregold branch, and even fans from UAE who traveled just for the show. Shoppers, influencers, and even local celebs were shoulder to shoulder—proof that music, like Puregold, truly brings people together.

VIP Access, Freebies, and a Lot of Heart

One of my favorite moments was the soundcheck party. Being up close with the performers before the main event made everything feel intimate, even in an arena that big. And don’t even get me started on the freebies—Nestle Bear Brand, Nestle Chuckie, Great Taste, Jack ‘n
Jill, Cream-O, Coca-Cola, Nutriboost Kids, Nissin Wafer, Lucky Me!, Argentina, Angel, Tide, Safeguard, Cream Silk, Surf, Alaska, Doowee Donut, Del Monte Fruity Zing, NestleCarnation, Nissin Noodles, Magnolia Cheezee, Purefoods, Champion, and Colgate and so many others showed up in full force. It was like a fiesta meets concert meets product fair for every concertgoers—a fun, generous atmosphere that added to the magic.

More Than a Grocery Store

I used to think of Puregold as just where we buy our weekly household needs. But now? It’s a cultural force, creating moments that go far beyond the checkout counter. As Ivy Hayagan-Piedad of Puregold shared, “We gave our loyal members an unforgettable celebration of Filipino music, talent, and pride.” And I felt that, deeply.

A Night I’ll Never Forget

OPM Con 2025 reminded me of who we are as Filipinos—resilient, creative, and full of heart.

It wasn’t just a concert. It was a night where I felt connected—to the music, to the crowd, and to something bigger than myself. Puregold OPM Con 2025 wasn’t just another concert. It was a bold declaration—that OPM is alive and thriving, and that Puregold is not just a retailer, but a platform for Filipino pride.

From the aisles of our local stores to the biggest indoor arena in the world, Puregold has shown us that supporting local goes beyond buying—it means celebrating who we are as a people.

I’ll definitely be staying tuned for what Puregold does next. Here’s to more Puregold moments. Here’s to more Original Panalo Music.
